Please read these terms carefully before using SkinSense. They set out your rights and responsibilities as a user of the platform.
01Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using SkinSense, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users — patients, doctors, and administrators.
02Description of Service
SkinSense is a dermatology platform that connects patients with board-certified dermatologists and provides tools for skin health management. The platform facilitates consultations, appointment scheduling, secure messaging, and health record management. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
03Medical Disclaimer
SkinSense is a communication and information platform, not a medical device or diagnostic tool. Any skin analysis features are intended to assist, not replace, the clinical judgement of a qualified dermatologist. Always seek the advice of a licensed healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
04User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent. Notify us immediately at support@skinsense.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
05Doctor Credentials
Doctors registered on SkinSense are required to submit valid medical licences for verification. SkinSense conducts reasonable verification but does not independently certify medical qualifications. Patients are encouraged to confirm credentials independently. Doctors who provide false information will be immediately suspended.
06Prohibited Use
You may not use SkinSense to post false or misleading medical information, harass or abuse other users, attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, upload malicious content, or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that breach these terms without notice.
07Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code on the SkinSense platform is owned by or licensed to SkinSense. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission. Your personal health data and the content you upload remains yours.
08Limitation of Liability
SkinSense is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, SkinSense is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
09Termination
You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SkinSense operates. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
